OPPORTUNITIES EVERY WEEK
Reaching the Elderly
9:00-11:00A | 1851 Elkcam Blvd
This ministry focuses on those who are in short term and long term rehabilitation. Whether you prefer to sit and visit, sing and play an instrument, enjoy interactive games, engage in prayer or have a Spa Day with those you meet – Deltona Health Care provides opportunities for the entire family to serve. Meet us at Cornerstone at 8:30A for our pre-serve briefing.
Feeding the Homeless
Second Saturday | 9:00-11:00A | Cornerstone Campus
On the second Saturday of the month, we will be serving hot meals and drinks to the homeless and struggling families of our community. Our Oasis Food Truck – a fully functioning breakfast & lunch restaurant on wheels, will provide foods and drinks to meet the needs of our city – on our church ground. We desire to feed, encourage, and share the Gospel with those we meet. Volunteers will serve meals, set-up and break-down tables, and love on our community. Meet us at Cornerstone at 8:30A for our pre-serve briefing.
Acts of Kindness
Times Varying | Location Varying
If you enjoy surprising people with kindness, this ministry is for you! We love on our city – regardless of age, race, wealth or status. Every third Saturday of the month will be a different Act of Kindness; paying for people’s laundry, handing out popsicles, mowing overgrown yards, thanking our first responders, and more! We are ready to be active and in the community. Meet us at Cornerstone at 8:30A for our pre-serve briefing.
9:00-11:00A | Dwight Hawkins Park
We are so excited to partner with the city in adopting our own park! Once a month, we will meet to pick up trash, clear debris, and tidy up our park. In addition, we will meet the guests of our park and hand out free water bottles. Trash bags and gloves will be provided by the city. Meet us at Cornerstone at 8:30A for our pre-serve briefing.
